Description
Regarding safari in Corbett kindly make a note of the following:
Availability of safari booking on short notice is difficult (Can be booked online maximum 45 days in advance through Govt. Portal : www.corbettonline.uk.gov.in
We do not assist/process online booking of safari permits since permits as well as jeep can only be booked online through Govt. website/portal.
To process online permit one must have name + gender + age + one photo id proof number of every guest going on the safari (full passport details in case of foreigners) and cell number + one passport size recent photograph of the lead guest along with preference order for gate/slot/day (maximum options should be considered for better chance of safari confirmations).
For any issue related to safari guests must contact park authorities since it is under direct and absolute control of the Govt.
Safari's can only be booked by paying full non refundable advance and once booked no cancellation/change/addition/
All quoted safari booking + transportation/jeep charges are subject to change without prior notice. Bookings are subject to opening of gates.
Approx Cost of safari in Corbett are:
Indian National Guest
Gate to Gate Rs. 5000/- Per Jeep Per Ride (Maximum Six Indian National Guests)
Foreign National Guest
Gate to Gate Rs. 8000/- Per Jeep Per Ride (Maximum Four Foreign National Guests)
Price Includes: Jeep Charge + Vehicle Entry + Personal Entry.
Naturalist/guide charges (approx Rs. 750/-) will be payable extra at the time of entering into the forest.
Gate to gate Canter Safari in Dhikala (Per Seat Gate to Gate - Between 15th Nov to 14th June)
Guest should select Dhangarhi gate as boarding point
For Indian Nationals Rs. 1500/- Per Person
For Foreign Nationals Rs. 4000/- Per Person
If guests do not wish to drive from Resort to Dhangarhi Canter Boarding Point and back in their own car (Or do not have own conveyance) Jeep charge @ Rs. 3000/- will be charged extra for dropping them to Dhangarhi Gate and picking them up after the trip (Maximum six people can be accommodated in one jeep)

Corbett Park offers safari in Sitabani Zone on a first come first serve basis for those who do not wish to book safari in advance or fail to secure advance booking due to short notice/last minute planning.

Corbett jeep safari timings are:
Morning: Leave from the Resort at 0500 hrs and return at 1000 hrs.
Afternoon: Leave from the Resort at 1330 hrs and return at 1830 hrs.
Generally Corbett Park stays open between 01st Oct to 30th June.
Between July to September normally two gates of Corbett called Jhirna & Garjia stay open (subject to weather/roads/driving conditions during this period).
1. Safari's can be availed in below mentioned six locations/zones:
Bijrani Gate (Jeep Safari - Considered number one zone by travelers
Garjia Gate (Jeep Safari - Considered number two zone by travelers
Jhirna Gate (Jeep Safari - Considered number two zone by travelers
DurgaDevi Gate (Jeep Safari - Considered number three zone by travelers for safari is approx 20 minutes away)
Dhela Gate (Jeep Safari - Considered number four Zoe by travelers for safari is approx 60 minutes away)
Dhikala (17 km approx & Heart of the forest but only canter safari is allowed in this area)

The only alternative available for people not staying overnight at FRH but interested in taking a trip to this part of the park is a Canter Safari (a small bus with sixteen seats) which makes two rounds during the
Guests should choose Dhangarhi Gate as the boarding point for canter safari to Dhikala since Dhangarhi is only 17 km from our Resort and Ramnagar is 35 km.

Four categories of accommodation available are:
Ten A/c Deluxe Swiss Cottage Tents (For adventure lovers) - 12' x 16' Hut shaped canvas tents on steel frame with wooden flooring and boundary walls. Thatched roof and side covers for extra insulation. Attached regular toilets with running hot and cold water, shower. Small attached sit out. Airy and very comfortable. 32" LED with major satellite channels + hot & cold split A/c units for maintaining desired temperature. Tastefully furnished.
Fourteen A/c Deluxe Rooms -
Round Shape: Built in cottage style: 16 feel in diameter with attached baths. Plenty of windows for view of excellent surroundings. 32" LED with major satellite channels + hot & cold split A/c units for maintaining desired temperature. Tastefully furnished.
Square Shape: 12' x 16' with attached baths. Bay windows for view of excellent surroundings. 32" LED with major satellite channels + Hot & Cold Split A/c units for maintaining desired temperature. Tastefully furnished.
Four A/c Superior Deluxe Rooms - 14' x 26' very spacious rooms with bay windows for view of excellent surroundings. 32" LED with major satellite channels + hot and cold split A/c units for maintaining desired temperature. Tastefully furnished.
Two A/c Suites - Two room apartments with one bedroom (12' x 16') + one living/drawing room (14' x 26') with bay windows & big terrace for view of excellent surroundings. 32" LED with major satellite channels + hot & cold split A/c units for maintaining desired temperature. Tastefully furnished.
Activities available at the Resort are:
Indoor Games: Table tennis, chess, carom, cards, tambola etc.
Outdoor Games: Swimming (full size pool + toddlers pool), play cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, tug of war, croquet etc in our seven acres of green lawns.
For our special guests (kids between 2 - 12 years) we have swings / seesaws / slides etc to make their stay more pleasurable.
Guided hiking trips (mild trekking on the mountains around the resort), guided nature walks along the River Ramganga can be arranged.
Attractions close to the Resort are:
Corbett National Park: Tiger reserve famous for its rich flora & fauna. Elephant & jeep safaris are possible between November and June.
Bonkhal: For breath-taking views of the Himalayas 8 km from the Resort.
Manila: 40 km from the Resort at an altitude of 6000 feet famous for old Manila Devi Temple. Snow covered in winter. Provides a panoramic view of Himalayan Peaks Kamet, Bander Punchi, Nanda Devi, Trishul and the
Ramganga and Mausi Valley. Ideal place for a day picnic with packed lunch.
Ranikhet: A hill station, idyllic in its charm, Ranikhet with its majestic pine trees is 74 km via scenic Chimtakhal-Bhatrojkhan. Full day visit with packed lunch is possible.
Nainital: Lake surrounded by hills and dense forests, world famous hill station is 95 km via Ramnagar-Kaladhungi. Full day visit with packed lunch is possible.
